Vid Legradić
I am Vid Legradić, born in 1985 in Ljubljana. I hold a master’s degree in political science (2009), but life led me to tourism, which is my passion and way of life.
I live in Zalog near Cerklje in Gorenjska, where I run my company, established in 2011. I am a professional tourist guide with a state license, dedicated to my work with all my heart. My travels and work connect me with Slovenia, Europe, and the world.
Tourist guide & Tourism logistics
Since graduating from university, I have been an entrepreneur, and my sole proprietorship, TraVid, has been operating continuously for 15 years as a recognized brand in receptive tourism.
As a tourist guide specialized in receptive tourism, I enjoy exploring and discovering the natural and cultural treasures of Slovenia. Occasionally, I organize trips to destinations I love, such as Iceland and Northern Europe, and I have already visited 70 countries.
Nature lover
I am a nature lover, traveler, and seeker of the unknown. The mountains are my passion, photography is my hobby, and adventure is my constant companion. My experiences and adventures constantly inspire me for new projects, explorations, and creations.
In my career, I have conquered more than 1000 mountain peaks, taken numerous nature photographs, and experienced countless unforgettable moments.

- I am an AFOL, an adult fan of LEGO® bricks. I have created many LEGO creations and am a member of the LEGO Club Slovenia.

I am an amateur photographer.
I mostly photograph nature. Occasionally, I participate in photography competitions.
- I love music and cars. Black metal is my favorite genre. I once even had a metal band.
- For various promotions, websites, and advertising my books, I create short films and recordings from my travels and mountain adventures.
Travel and fantasy writer
I am the author of the internationally published science fiction novel Travid: Beyond the Nine Stars, which has reached readers worldwide. Additionally, I have written:
- the travel series Zgodba o potovanju,
- the crime novel Sence gorskega cvetja,
- the contemplative work Srce in kamen,
- numerous articles and posts in the media.
Why tourism and writing?
Tourism and writing are the perfect combination for me of exploring the world and expressing the stories that life carries. Every journey, peak, and moment in nature connects me with people, places, and countless untold stories.
