Travid’s best friend and the daughter of Janus Kohn, one of the most important politicians in the Space Union. Elara is the female voice of reason and a counterbalance to Travid.

Summary

Travid Urs is a 35-year-old freelance tour guide from planet Earth. With his small spaceship, named Silver Beast, which also serves as his home, he travels through the remote regions of the Space Union, a community of 1,985 planets. In various locations, he works as a local guide, companion, and professional driver. One day, he accepts a job as a driver and guide for a special VIP guest: the controversial Minister of Technology of the Space Union. Due to upcoming elections and the relative political instability of the Union, his journey quickly descends into chaos. After a few relatively ordinary days with the minister, Travid suddenly finds himself swept into a whirlwind of political intrigues, false identities, and secret plans to destabilize the galaxy. As he fights for his life, he meets the minister’s family and, together with them, decides to change the course of their plans.

About the author

Vid Legradić is a 36-year-old freelance writer from Slovenia. After earning a master’s degree in political science, he decided to dedicate his life to travel, a passion he was soon fortunate enough to turn into his profession. For ten years, he worked as an international and local tour guide, successfully transforming his experiences into written pieces for travel magazines. This venture inspired him to begin writing and publishing his personal travelogues. From this turning point emerged two books: Zgodba o potovanju (2019), written in his native language, and the recent Travid: Beyond Nine Stars (2021), written in English, where he explores the fascinating world of science fiction for the first time.
